There is significant community objection to this application.
NLC recommends that the Planning Committee approve it.
The Community Council requested and has been granted a Hearing which will take place on 25th March 2021 at 10am.
The decision to approve or refuse the application will be decided then.

A Planning Permission in Principle (PPP) has been lodged with North Lanarkshire Council by Miller Homes Limited c/o Holder Planning Ltd for a residential development on a greenbelt site to the south of Dorlin Road, Cardowan, Stepps.

The online public consultation will commence Wednesday 16 June 2021 and end on Friday 2 July 2021.
Information on the proposed Roadside Services Area can be found on www.clarendonpd.co.uk from Wednesday 16 June 2021.
Comments to the proposed development can be made from 16 June 2021 up to the closing date of Friday 2 July 2021.
Please note any comments submitted to the consultation are not representations to the Planning Authority. There will be an opportunity to make formal representations to North Lanarkshire Council following submission of the planning application. All comments received from the public consultation will however be summarised within a Pre Application Consultation Report that will be submitted with the future planning application.
There will be two live interactive public consultation events, which are to take place on (i) Wednesday 16 June 2021 between 9.30am to 1.30pm and (ii) Thursday 17 June between 4.30pm to 7.30pm. The events will be undertaken via the zoom platform. Access links to these sessions can be requested by email from firstname.lastname@example.org. There will be a 7 day period after the events for a two way exchange of further comments / information.
